HillHost provides live platform status information and individual service monitoring to help customers quickly check the health of their websites and VPS services.
HillHost live system status
You can view the current operational status of the HillHost infrastructure at:
https://www.hillhost.net/ua/serverstatus.php
The public status page provides anonymized information about the following components:
- Shared Hosting Platform
- VPS Platform
- VPS Host Infrastructure
- Shared Hosting Infrastructure
It also displays scheduled maintenance and recently resolved platform incidents. The page never publishes customer domains, server IP addresses, VPS identifiers or account information.
Understanding platform statuses
- Operational: The platform is responding normally.
- Degraded: A platform component or infrastructure service requires attention, but services may remain available.
- Service disruption: Monitoring has detected a wider availability problem affecting the platform.
- Status unavailable: Current monitoring information is temporarily unavailable.
A degraded platform status does not necessarily mean that your individual website or VPS is offline. Check your service monitor in the Client Area for service-specific information.
Checking an individual service
To view the monitoring information for one of your services:
- Sign in to the HillHost Client Area.
- Open Services and select My Services.
- Select the website hosting or VPS service you want to review.
- Locate the HillHost Monitoring – Service health panel.
Depending on the service type, the panel may display:
- Current service status
- 30-day uptime
- Latest response time
- SSL certificate validity
- VPS CPU, RAM and disk allocation
- Recent availability history
- Response-time trends
- Recent service events
- Last successful monitoring check
Service-monitoring statuses
- Operational: The service responded successfully during the latest check.
- Checking: A problem was detected, but the configured confirmation threshold has not yet been reached.
- Down: Multiple consecutive checks confirmed that the service is unavailable.
- SSL problem: The website’s HTTPS certificate could not be validated correctly.
- Monitoring unavailable: The monitoring system could not obtain reliable service information. This does not automatically mean the service is offline.
- Monitoring not configured: Additional service information is required before monitoring can begin.
- Checks delayed: The latest monitoring result is older than expected.
- Maintenance: The service is currently within a scheduled maintenance window.
Email notifications
Customers can choose whether to receive monitoring emails for each eligible service.
- Open the service in the HillHost Client Area.
- Expand Email notification preferences inside the monitoring panel.
- Select one or both options:
- Email me when a confirmed outage begins
- Email me when the service recovers
- Click Save notification preferences.
Notifications are optional and configured separately for every service. An alert is sent only after monitoring confirms an outage, helping to avoid unnecessary messages caused by temporary network interruptions.
Scheduled maintenance
Platform-wide maintenance is published on the live system-status page. Maintenance periods are excluded from the affected monitoring calculations where applicable.
During maintenance, a service may be temporarily unavailable while upgrades, security work or infrastructure changes are completed.
What should I do when a service appears down?
- Check the HillHost live system-status page for a platform incident or scheduled maintenance.
- Review the monitoring panel for your individual service.
- Wait a few minutes and check again, as monitoring uses consecutive checks to confirm outages.
- If the service remains unavailable and no incident is published, open a support ticket.
When contacting support, include your service name, the approximate time the problem began and any error message visible in your browser or application.
